Cvander:

I love to collect stories from all over the world. More about me.
I'm an Entrepreneur, founder of Maestros del Web. Why do I blog in English?

I’m going to blog for better english skills

There are so many good reasons to have a blog, but I have to admit that my main goal is to use it as a learning tool.

Yes, learn to write down my thoughts and share stories, learn to think over and over my ideas, learn from the comments and reactions of my readers, and from now on, learn to write better in English.

I’m going to write more often in English than in Spanish in my personal blog. For some posts about Community building, technology and Internet stuff I will always share them in Maestros del Web (in Spanish for sure).

Don’t hesitate to correct if something is terribly written…

@Pmendez, there’s no gringuita, but a lot of “guiris” ;)

@Luis, go to Antigua, San Pedro or Monterrico. You’ll be able to enhance your English and even your German ;)

I think your english skills are pretty good, that’s not my case, most of the time i prefer Spanglish, can you believe this is my first comment since i you started to read your blog or maestros del web, asi que mejor continuo en español, interesante el post de adobe, esa guerra diseñador/desarrollador a mi parecer siempre se dara especialmente en el entorno latinoamerica, porque? porque existe la cultura de zoila, entonces recargas al programador con tareas propias de un diseñador y juas alli es cuando salen las mutaciones de paginas guebs. pero bueno c’est la vie sonaria en frances, saludos desde Suecia

Yeah, practice is the best one can do to improve something.
Personally, I think it’s kinda difficult to decide what language to use for blogging if you speak more than one, and probably the best is to post in English, the closest thing to a “universal language”, and those who don’t speak it that well can always use a translation service but nowadays who doesn’t in the web environment? :)

@j_aroche, hope to see some english posts in your blog soon.

@derick, I saw that you’re after the third goal.. Good luck with that and thanks for the comment :)
