My name is Christian Van Der Henst Solis. I was born in Guatemala in march 9th, 1982. My last name is originally from Belgium several generations behind. Despite the name, my blood is definitely from Latinamerica.

Since 97, I have lived for and from the Internet. All started as a hobbie (and it still is). Then I worked for several internet providers, interactive agencies, media and education organizations. I own Maestros del Web, a Guatemalan company that manages communities and web projects. We also provide consultant services for organizations that believe and invest in the potential of virtual media.

My biggest goal is to promote the use of Internet and its technologies in all aspects of the daily living. I have given courses and conferences about web development, e-business, search engine marketing and optimization, digital media and virtual communities in Argentina, Bolivia, El Salvador, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Spain, United States and Uruguay.
