Time for Paris, time for LeWeb3

10 Dec

LeWeb3One year ago I read online about LeWeb3, this year on its Fouth Edition, I decided to not only read about it, but to be part of it, thanks to the people of Zemanta.

I’m heading to Paris on tuesday.. that means that my twitter, tumblr and flickr account will be on fire.

The biggest internet event in Europe, more than two thousand participants, many entrepreneurs and great speakers…the perfect atmosphere to get inspired!

Update: My review of LeWeb 3 (in Spanish)

Networking Activo BarcelonaThis 29th of november, Networking Activo will have its Second Business Meeting event in Barcelona and I’ll be there. The first one in Madrid was a great opportunity to meet a lot of people from the Internet business in Spain.

Thanks to Emilio for the invitation and hope to meet more great people -more than 180 confirmed guests. The program seems very complete with a Keynote from Enrique Dans, a well known teacher and blogger here in Spain.

Update: The event has live streaming today from Citilab in Quicktime.

Adobe evangelists in Barcelona

15 Nov

Designer and developer. How to connect them?

Following the Adobe community, I had read Mike Chambers and his work as an Adobe evangelist, so when the guys of MadeInFlex Community promoted an event in Barcelona this week with his name, it rang a bell.

The event is the first one promoted by the community and was held in the Adobe Offices in Torre Mafre (one of the two towers next to the Olympic harbor in Barcelona). Great view of the city, free pizza and lot of developers on site.

Mike talked a lot about AIR, and also showed a video of Thermo, a project that will really help designers and developers to interact in a better way.

We also had a fun conference of Lee Brimelow from The Flash Blog, a platform evangelist that has some cool examples of what you can build with Flash, Flex and AIR.

The local team of speakers included Angel Blesa speaking about Guasax framework and Joan Garnet about Flex.

By the way, Carlos Rovira is a really tall guy and I finally had the chance to meet Xavi Beumala.

London, here we go…

2 Oct
